Mission: Promoting the work and personal development of Argentinian women working in botany and plant biology in our country and the world, stimulating networking and expanding knowledge.
Statement: ARG Plant Women is a network of Committed, Passionate and Vocal women that work in disciplines related to plant science. Our goal is to support the participation and leadership of women plant scientists in academia, industry and beyond while increasing appreciation and understanding of plant biology and botany. With this we aim to grow awareness of the need of women participating in seminars, conferences, talks, consultancies, interviews, etc. We aspire to create a safe space to give us visibility in the scientific community, allow us to share our knowledge, and disseminate job and collaboration opportunities to diversify our spaces and make our field more just for all.
